The Pacific Northwest Section of the American Water Works Association was founded in 1927 and provides leadership to drinking water professionals in Idaho, Oregon, and Washington in the areas of:
- Water quality and distribution
- Water resource policy
- Conservation
- Engineering
PNWS is governed by its nearly 3,000 members and its programs are carried out by hundreds of member volunteers, assisted by staff located in Vancouver, Washington. On this website you can learn more about the organization, its history, and guiding policies.
