Are you an experienced Engineer who lives on the Eastside, looking for a shorter commute? We have an opening for an Engineer or Principal Engineer depending on experience.

This position will provide management and review of the District’s Developer Extension projects. This includes review of city and county permits as they relate to District facilities, including water and sewer use. The position also requires assisting in the development and implementation of water and sewer infrastructure improvements within the District through development and District-initiated capital projects.

Required Qualifications
*Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field.
*Professional Engineering license for State of Washington required or the ability to obtain.
*Prior experience as a licensed Professional Engineering design, construction, and project management of public works projects.
*Valid Washington State Driver’s License in good standing.
Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Civil engineering principles and practices used in design, construction, and inspection of water, sewer, roadway, and storm drainage projects; water supply and wastewater engineering along with hydrology and geotechnical engineering; Construction Management principles and practices; Project
Management; Advanced level AutoCad; Professional communication and interpersonal skills; Solid technical writing; Multitasking, prioritizing, and meeting deadlines.
